On Friday 2 December 2011 Mr. Alastair Hamilton and colleague Ms. Oonagh Hinds visited the SIGNAL Centre of Business Excellence to meet with Mr. Dunne and North Down Borough Council officers. The meeting provided a good opportunity to discuss the issues facing North Down and how Invest NI might contribute to these. Invest NI is committed to working in partnership with North Down Borough Council to enhance economic development in the area and in the current difficult climate, collaborative and innovative approaches to projects can enhance opportunities for business development and investment in the area. Closer co-operation between Invest NI and the Council will serve to deliver a better service to local businesses and work towards improving the economic wellbeing of the borough.
