The programme of business support offered by SIGNAL, dovetails with those programmes and services provided by the other stakeholders in economic development in North Down.
In September 2006, SIGNAL became the first SME support centre in Northern Ireland to be accredited as a Centre of Excellence by the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI). SFEDI is recognised by the government as the standards-setting body for training and qualification support to those setting up or running their own business.
